A three-story recreation facility

  • Atrium in the center of the building
  • Designed with durable materials for minimal maintenance
  • 335’ span pedestrian bridge

A three-story, 25,000-square-foot recreation facility built into the hillside which slopes from the main entrance at the uppermost level down to the terrace at the lowest level. The hillside is stabilized with a cantilevered caisson retaining wall and concrete shear walls. The roof is constructed of laminated wood decking on glued laminated timber rafters and trusses, supported by steel framing. A 335’ span pedestrian bridge connects the two residential hills.
