Deep Foundations completed at Cleveland Medical Mart
Contractors completed the deep foundations at the Cleveland Medical Mart and Convention Center. The last of the 150 foot deep caissons and micropiles were installed and tested. These each extend to, and are embedded into, the shale bedrock below the project site. Additionally, the majority of the foundation grade beams are in place and construction of the new concrete concourses is well underway.
Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center Opens
The Cleveland Clinic opened the new Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center in East Cleveland Ohio. A new 50,000-square-foot, three-story, 211-bed acute care hospital in East Cleveland offering a wide range of inpatient medical services. LEED Silver registered with the USGBC.

Barber & Hoffman's five-year restoration efforts on Cleveland's historic landmark Terminal Tower have garnered the following awards: 2010 ICRI Award of Excellence, 2010 Cleveland Engineering Society Restoration Project of the Year, and the 2010 Cleveland Restoration Society/AIA Cleveland/Akron Chapter Preservation Outstanding Preservation Achievement Award.
Lake Health Concord Physicians Office Building Earns Merit

University Hospitals Patient/Visitors Parking Garage Facade
Barber & Hoffman's innovative use of steel in the ornamental metal facade on this project earned the 2011 American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) IDEAS2 Award.
