The eight-story, 94,000-square-foot medical office
building had cracking over its entire face.
The original precast masonry panels, constructed with a corrosive
additive, could not be restored and the entire facade was demolished down
to the top of the lower piers and rebuilt.
Vertical masonry was reconstructed with steel stud back-up while the
sloped panels were replaced utilizing ½"-thick sandwich panels of
aluminum sheets with a composite core.
