Associated with Barber & Hoffman since 1975,
Robert Jordan serves as principal-in-charge and project manager on
commercial, institutional, healthcare and restoration projects. His
experience varies from facade and parking garage restoration to analysis
and design of steel masonry, and concrete structures to meet various client
needs. During his tenure with Barber & Hoffman, Mr. Jordan has
progressed from engineer-in-training to structural designer to project
manager. He was named associate of the firm in 1987 and in that same year assumed
the position of office manager, in that capacity, he supervised the daily
activities of the firm's staff and acted as project consultant providing
practical design solutions for the firm's projects. He was named a
principal to the firm in 1991. Mr. Jordan joined the firm immediately after
graduation from Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor
of Science in Architectural Engineer. He is an active member of the
Cleveland Engineering Society, Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute, American
Consulting Engineers Council and Craftsmanship Awards Committee of the
Builders Exchange of Cleveland. He is a registered engineer in the State of
Ohio.
